MilTransitionCare ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: Email address when you register.
• Service information: Branch, MOS/rate/AFSC, rank, and years of service you provide during onboarding.
• App content: Resumes, cover letters, MOS translations, and roadmaps you generate.
• Usage data: Feature interactions stored to improve the service.

We do not collect advertising IDs, device IDs, IMEI, MAC addresses, or any biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the MilTransitionCare service.
• To generate AI-powered career documents using your profile information.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, document delivery).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — via our secure server-side proxy to generate career documents. Your data is not used to train AI models.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is protected by Row Level Security — you can only access your own data.

6. Children's Privacy

MilTransitionCare is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
